Strolling from Aubery Park past the RNLI station, the ferry terminal and the harbour side cafes is a favourite pastime. However the walk along the prom can be continued past the swing parks, Bowencraig beach, and the Viking Pencil monument and onto Largs Marina and Kelburn Country Centre. Golfing (with two courses) sailing and power boating are all available and visits to the surrounding islands of Little Cumbrae, Great Cumbrae, Bute and Arran can easily be planned within a weekend stay whilst the adjacent ferry terminals make Largs a great centre for “driving” holidays.
